The LinXus Planning Team consists of youth leaders from various churches:

                    Jasmine Da Roza

Curtis Wilson (St. Andrew's & St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, North Vancouver)
Heather Winters (Richmond Presbyterian Church, Richmond)
Elaine Wilson (Fairview Presbyterian Church, Vancouver)

Wanna know more about your LPT?

Jasmine DA ROZA - "typee mctyperson"

                    Picture
Favourite superhero: when I was younger, Rogue (same as Elaine - the cartoon version, not the movie version) and Mystique (I liked her powers). As an adult, I very, VERY much like Iron Man. Billionaire superhero? Sign me up! (Sorry, Vic <3 you!)

How many hours do you talk on the phone: as little as possible. I hate talking on the phone. I would rather text/email or see you in person.

                    Coke or Pepsi: Pepsi!

Favourite Chore: Dishes - I totally zone out when I do it. Sometimes I pray while I'm cleaning up.

Did you watch Inception? If you did, was the ending real or imagined? Discuss.  99.9% real - because he finally got to see his children's faces! Plus I'm a sucker for happy endings.

Victor DA ROZA - "the twitter guy"

                    Picture
Favourite superhero:  Superman. He's the only true superhero. He was born Super and tried to be as human as possible. Everyone else is human trying to be super.

How many hours do you talk on the phone:
Probably more than I should but less than I want to.  Conversations last longer via text so why not keep the party going?

                    Coke or Pepsi: Pepsi

Favourite Chore: Does getting up to find the TV remote count? If so that one. If not....

Did you watch Inception? If you did, was the ending real or imagined? Discuss.    Best movie of 2010 by far! Ending? I'm still watching that darn thing spin.  I'll let you know if it's real or not when I wake up.

                    Curtis WILSON - "head cheese"

                    Picture
Favourite superhero:   SPIDERMAN!!!!  When I was a kid I told my parents that I would be Spiderman when I grew up....despite the fact that I HATE spiders...*cringe*

How many hours do you talk on the phone:  ...phone...talking...what?

Coke or Pepsi:  Coke all the way peeps!

Favourite Chore:  washing dishes is great God time!

Did you watch Inception? If you did, was the ending real or imagined? Discuss.    Totally REAL...because you can actually see the top starting to slow down.......or does it?! o.O

                    Elaine WILSON - "funky chicken"

                    Picture
Favourite superhero: a tie between Rouge from  X-men (from the old school cartoons, not the movie series, she’s just a sissy in the movies) and Blossom of the Powerpuff girls (Yes, they are just that awesome)

How many hours do you talk on the phone:  pre-marriage = at least 4 hr/day; post-marriage = less than 1 hr/day

                    Coke or Pepsi:  Coke

Favourite Chore: laundry – set it and forget it...until the timer goes off...then fold in front of the TV hehe

Did you watch Inception? If you did, was the ending real or imagined? Discuss.    REAL because I only watch movies with happy endings

Heather WiNTERS - "director of awesomeness"

                    Picture

                    Favourite superhero: Super-spidey-batman

How many hours do you talk on the phone? On average about 5-10 minutes a day.

Coke or Pepsi: PEPSI...forever young, baby!

Favourite chore: definitely vacuuming...hearing dirt get sucked up is great...I think the next vacuum made should be called iSuck...that name is copyrighted by me, thank you.

Did you watch Inception? twice in the theatres and hmm...at least about 5 times since then
If you did, was the ending real or imagined? Discuss. The ending...I actually had to watch it again to answer this question so I'd know how to communicate what I was thinking at the end! lol...yes even though I've seen it so many times!  I think it's real...he gets off the plane (having found Saito and dealt with the guilt he has about his wife Mal) and it seems pretty significant that he is welcomed "back home" by the customs guy - there are no projections converging on anyone at this point.  He goes home and he actually sees his kids faces whereas when he was dreaming he could never see them.  I think the totem spinning at the end of the movie represents the fact that real life sometimes seems like a dream and that one will always dream.
